Some journeys are told through photographs. Others remain as light, silence, warmth, or the scent of wood, salt or vegetation. Carnets de Voyage, the 2026 season from KMK PARIS, begins with this second kind.
Can a home fragrance tell the story of a place?
I do not try to reproduce a destination literally. I look for what it has left behind: a rhythm, a tension, a material, a precise memory. Fragrance then becomes a way of bringing that feeling home.
This season is built around three stops: Brazil with LIANE LIBRE, Morocco with RIVAGE CUIVRÉ, then Palm Beach with PALME D’HIVER. Three very different places, connected by the same desire: to create an interior space capable of slowing time.
Stop 01 — Brazil and LIANE LIBRE
LIANE LIBRE opens the journal with a woody, amber and leathery signature. Smoky leather, birch, sandalwood, dark woods, cedar, patchouli, vanilla and amber create a dense, warm and enveloping presence.
It is the fragrance of return: vegetation takes up space, the materials are deep and light seems to pass through a humid forest. LIANE LIBRE is available now as a 100 ml room spray.
Stop 02 — Agadir, Taghazout and RIVAGE CUIVRÉ
In Morocco, what stays with me is the contrast. Agadir and Taghazout bring together sea and city, movement and slowness, tradition and a very contemporary energy. RIVAGE CUIVRÉ translates this tension through rum, oud and spices in the opening, followed by patchouli, leather and cedar, before a base of amber, vanilla wood and musk.
The result is woody, spicy, leathery, amber and balsamic. A fragrance that moves forward with character before softening.
Stop 03 — Palm Beach and PALME D’HIVER
PALME D’HIVER comes from an equally radical contrast: leaving the cold of New York and, just a few hours later, finding the light of South Florida. Rose, passion fruit and orange open the composition. Monoi, orange blossom and coconut bring a feeling of warmth. White musk, ylang-ylang and vanilla extend the softness.
The fragrance is fruity, floral, sunlit and vanilla, while preserving the season’s essential idea: travel as a pause and a return to oneself.
A season conceived as a journal
