Between Agadir and Taghazout, a single day can change pace several times. The city accelerates; the shore slows down. Noise dissolves into the wind. Materials warmed by the sun take on a different presence. RIVAGE CUIVRÉ was born from this tension.
Agadir: movement
Agadir brings energy, motion and contrast. I wanted an opening with character that never became heavy. Rum, oud and spices provide that first impulse: warm, direct and almost vibrant.
This opening is not intended to imitate a souk or reduce Morocco to an olfactory cliché. Its purpose is to convey a sense of movement and materiality.
Taghazout: slowing down
As the shore draws closer, the fragrance changes pace. Patchouli, a leather accord and cedarwood create a drier, more textured heart. It evokes sun-warmed wood, weathered surfaces and the sense that time is stretching out.
Finally, amber, vanilla wood and musk create a softer base. The composition retains its depth but stops pressing forward. It lingers.
A woody, spicy, leathery, amber and balsamic signature
RIVAGE CUIVRÉ is conceived as a home fragrance with character. Its signature combines woody, spicy, leathery, amber and balsamic facets.
Top notes: rum, oud, spices.
Heart notes: patchouli, leather accord, cedarwood.
Base notes: amber, vanilla wood, musk.
Tradition and rebellion
What interests me about this stop is not the opposition between old and new, but their coexistence. Craftsmanship, traditions and materials live alongside a younger generation inventing its own codes. RIVAGE CUIVRÉ seeks to keep that tension alive: elegant without becoming restrained, deep without becoming static.
